Getting started on Konstella

The Beye School PTO uses Konstella as our main platform for communicating with the parent community and to coordinate events sponsored or hosted by the PTO.

Opening Your Account

If you don’t already have an account or if you haven’t registered your account, follow these easy steps to ensure you are kept informed about all important messages, events, and activities regarding your child’s classroom and the entire school community.

You should have received an email invitation to join Konstella from “Beye PTO Communications” titled: “Join other parents in William Beye Elementary.” At the bottom of the email, click the “Join William Beye Elementary” button to start the registration process. Enter your name and email address, and set a password, then click the “Sign Up” button to complete the registration process.

If you haven’t received an invitation email, no problem! Here’s what you need to do:

In a web browser go to www.konstella.com
At the top right of the screen click the link for “Find My School”

A search dialogue window will open. Enter “Beye” in the search box, select the result and click “Next.”
Complete the fields, the “Notes” field is optional, and click “Submit” After verifying your identity you will receive an invitation email to join the Beye Konstella community.

Joining a Classroom

Even if you have an account from last year, you need to make sure that your children are associated with the correct classrooms. When the school year rolls over, classroom assignments are removed, so you may have to manually go in a join the appropriate classrooms. This is a quick and easy process that you can do either on the www.konstella.com website or through the Konstella app.

If you are using the Konstella website:

On the top left of the home screen expand your profile settings with the down arrow.
Click the link for “Your Children”
On the new screen that opens, if under “Classroom” it shows “Not in Any Classroom” click the link below for “Join Classroom.”

A new dialogue window will open with all the Beye homerooms. Simply find your child’s homeroom and select it, and click the “Select” button.
If you have multiple children, repeat for each one.
Once you are finished, you must click the “Save” button or the classrooms will not be updated!

If you are using the Konstella mobile app:

On the opening screen, click on the gear icon on the top left to open your settings.
From the settings panel, select the menu item for “Your Children".
You will see a list of all your children, and what classrooms they are assigned to.
Select any children that are not assigned to a classroom.

Select the menu item “Please select your classroom.”
A new screen will load with all the Beye homerooms. Simply find your child’s homeroom and select it.
Tap the back arrow to repeat these steps for another child, or tap “Done” to return to the Konstella home screen.
