Calendar

There are two key places to learn about upcoming dates for all things Beye.  The Beye School Calendar will include all Beye School and District 97 events.  The Konstella Calendar will include key Beye School dates, but also all PTO-related events and activities.

February 5th: 7-8 pm: Community PTO Meeting: Join the Beye School PTO for an evening with therapist David Kessler, co-founder and clinical director of the Willow Center for Integrated Health. His podcast, "Something Shiny", is redefining neurodiversity as discussed by Forbes in this article. David has experience leading group discussions and sharing insights into ADHD, learning differences, and executive functioning, as well as trauma. February 12th: 12-8 pm: Dining for Dollars at Penny's Noodle Shop: Help Beye School PTO with oodles of noodles!When you mention Beye School PTO while making a purchase at Penny's Noodle Shop in person or over the phone on February 12th, a percentage of proceeds will be donated back to the Beye School PTO to continue to sponsor programs and events like these.Thank you for supporting us and local businesses!  Penny's Noodle Shop is located at 1130 Chicago Avenue in Oak Park and can be contacted via 708-660-1300.

February 20th-March 8th: Beye PTO Annual Plant Fair: ​Think Spring and support the PTO!  Order your flowers, veggies, and herbs online with pick up on May 9th, just in time for Mothers' Day!

February 21st: 3-5pm: Lunar New Year Celebration: Come celebrate the Year of the Horse with crafts, food, and community, while learning more about holiday traditions in the many countries which celebrate Lunar New Year!  Please join us in the Beye Commons for this fun (& free) event!  Please consider volunteering for a shift to help make this event a success.

Wednesday, February 25: 4:00-7:00pm: Beye Black History Month: Seven Principles, One Community: Let’s celebrate Black history, culture, and community together!  Join us for a hands-on celebration of Black history and culture! Families will explore the seven principles of Kwanzaa (Nguzo Saba) through interactive stations featuring art, music, movement, community building, and more.  There will be take home crafts and a soul food buffet, as well as a pound cake pot luck, so please bring a pound cake to share if you have a favorite recipe!  Volunteers needed! If you're available to help with prep (Weekend of February 14-15) and day-of support (Wednesday, February 25), please contact Eboni Hawkins, [email protected] to sign up or ask questions.  This is a free event, open to the entire Beye community.

Saturday, March 7th: 2-5pm: One Lake Brewing: SOLD OUT:  Beye PTO is happy to host a Mahjong Fundraiser for those new to the game, as well as seasoned players!  Too excited to wait until March 7?  Reach out to Sharon Lomasney ([email protected]) to coordinate a private lesson (4-8 people) this February at New Sound Cafe, also benefitting Beye! Private February lessons are $50 / person, with $20 of that going to the Beye School PTO and look for a another group lesson at One Lake soon!

Wednesday, March 18th: 11 am - 7 pm (or online, from March 15th-19th): Dining for Dollars: Candycopia: 717 Lake Street: Because knowledge is power, but candy makes it fun—support Beye at Candycopia. When you mention Beye School PTO while making a purchase at Candycopia in person on March 18th from 11am to 7pm or online from March 15th to 19th with promo code 'BEYE', 10% of proceeds will be donated back to the Beye School PTO - thank you for supporting us and local businesses!  Candycopia is located at 717 Lake Street in Oak Park. Online orders can be placed on their website: candycopia.com and be shipped almost anywhere, so share this fundraiser with family and friends!
