Fundraising
Fundraising is the primary way the PTO funds key programs, initiatives, and events throughout the year. From helping to fund class field trips and classroom expenses, to hosting school-wide events like Olympic Day and Fifth Grade Graduation, to supporting community organizations that run programs at Beye, every dollar raised through our various fundraising opportunities goes towards enriching every student and family's experience during their Elementary School journey.

Food Aid for Beye Families: Please consider making a donation to help purchase food and other essentials for Beye families in our community who are experiencing food insecurity due to the likely suspension of SNAP benefits due to the ongoing government shutdown.
BeyeWear: Check out our new BeyeWear vendor, 1st Place SpiritWear. 1st Place offers many designs, available on t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, sweatpants, and more. After 20 years at Beye, beloved teacher-librarian Mr. Withers has retired. During his time at Beye, Mr. Withers introduced so many students to the joy of reading, always going above and beyond to help a child find their new favorite book. He also inspired generations of 5th graders to rise to the challenge of participating in the Reading Olympics, encouraging reluctant and avid readers alike to join a team and do their best. At the beginning of SY24-25, his last at Beye, Mr. Withers approached the PTO with a new idea. He proposed that the PTO provide the funds so that he could give every child a book for their birthday - one selected specially for them, that they could take home and keep. In its first year, this program was an enormous success and, to honor Mr. Withers and all he has done for Beye and its Bobcat readers, we'd like to ensure that the PTO can continue this program for many years to come. Please consider making a gift to the Mr. Withers Birthday Book Fund. Any donation made to this fund will be used exclusively to provide birthday books for Beye students. Beye School PTO's Silent Auction: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/beye-school-ptos-silent-auction At various times throughout the year, we will update and open the silent auction form for the community to place bids on gift certificates, BeyeWear merchandise, and more! We welcome any and all bids on these silent auction items. Beye School Fifth Grade Read-a-Thon to Support the Hubbard Street Dance Programming: In the third trimester, the Beye School Fifth Grade Team will participate in a read-a-thon to raise funds to support one-half of the payment to bring Hubbard Street Dance into our school for a 12-week program. Beye School PTO's Beye-a-Brick Shop:The Beye School PTO Beye-a-Brick program is intended to encourage each student and/or family to leave their legacy or gratitude toward a school staff member(s) in a semi-permanent way. Bricks purchased will be laid on the path leading from the front entrance to the blacktop, replacing existing 'blank' bricks. Look for information in Spring 2026 about ordering for SY25-26. Beye Book Fairs: Each fall and spring, the Beye Book Fair raises money for the PTO while filling Beye students' homes with perhaps one of the most important tools and keys to learning, creativity and imagination -- books! This year, Beye is teaming up with Anderson's, an independent bookseller out of Naperville.

Beye Fun Fair: As the second largest fundraising event each year, the Beye School Fun Fair is a school-wide extravaganza that combines carnival games for all ages, Karoake, and other Beye staples like the Silly String and Hair Dye areas, PLUS an extensive array of items up for bid in silent auction and in raffle drawings. Thanks for making this year's Fun Fair such a huge success!
