District 97 Resources and Information
Follow District 97 on its Facebook page, its Twitter feed and its website for the latest information about the district’s response to coronavirus and COVID-19.
Food Resources
District 97 will be providing meals to children who receive free or reduced lunch this Monday, March 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at either Longfellow Elementary School (715 S. Highland) or Brooks Middle School (325 S. Kenilworth). Families may pick whichever location is most convenient for them. Each eligible student will receive five shelf-stable lunches and five breakfasts.
There are other food drives occurring in our community, and the Beye School Backpack program is continuing through the hiatus. If you want more information about how to help, or if you are someone or know of someone who needs help with food during this time, email <[email protected]; Mr. Ellwanger; Lori Janu-Chassek; Samina or Jen Stringfield>.

Academic, Social and Childcare Resources
While classrooms are closed and large gatherings discouraged, virtual discussions are possible using Zoom, and room parents will be coordinating the setup of Zoom accounts for all Beye classrooms. Please help spread the word and if you know of any families who may not be on Konstella, please encourage them to join. If you have questions or need technical help, email Evan McKerns.
